Winter Time Activities
Winter time seems to last forever up here in the "Great White North" ....So what do you do with
your time? ... When you become a client of Crystal Clear Stables you will find that we have all
sorts of fun things to do in the winter!
Our riding ring is plowed on a regular basis to ensure that you can ride if you are brave enough
to stand the cold... but if not we have week end ice fishing get togethers on the lake which is a
great way to wait out the cold not to mention a fantastic way to spend quality time with your
family and friends!
Winter camp fires keep us warm and game nights ensure that we all stay connected! Some of our
students even learn how to snowshoe in the winter!
Group sleigh rides are another one of the ways we stay equine oriented in the winter months!
***For those who can't wait until summer don't worry we still have game
nights and fun marshmallow roasts for the kids...(and parents!)
School Tours
Schools are always welcome to come for a visit to Crystal Clear Stables!
We really enjoy the opportunity to introduce kids to our equine friends!
Many of the school children we have had visit our farm have never had the opportunity to pet
and touch animals ......and as you can see the animals just love the attention!
Visiting students will find this an exciting learning experience! There is lots of hands on
interaction along with a wide variety of animals to pet!....This is a school trip they won't soon
forget!
