I have known Crystal\Crystal Clear Stables for about 4yrs now. I never used her as a trainer but knew people that have and I also boarded one of my horses at the same place she had temporarily boarded one of her horses that she had in training.

In May of 2006 I visited Crystal at her stable to have a look at a few young horses she had for sale. I was not really in the market for a young horse but because they were from Crystal's I knew that I would be looking at very well mannered young horses, as she spends a lot of time on ground work. I ended up falling in love with Her 2 yr. old filly and purchased her shortly there after. My experience with this filly far surpassed my expectations. It has been nothing but a pleasure working with this horse and Crystal. If I needed support or had any questions I would call Crystal up and she was always there for both of us.

The only down side to this whole story is that due to personal reasons I had to sell Raven. (which by the way did not take long at all) I found her a wonderful new home and I know she will never want for anything.

In closing I would like to say that if I ever do get the chance to get back into horses Crystal will be my first call.

To Whom It May Concern,

Please accept my letter of reference in regards to my equine experiences with Crystal Calbert and our stay at Crystal Clear Stables. My experience started last year when I approached Crystal for help and training of a young filly as well as myself to better ourselves in the show ring. Since I was new to the art of showing horses I needed guidance from someone who knew what they were doing and knew how to help me achieve my goals. Crystal Clear Stables was very precise, honest and knowledgeable as to what goals could be reached in the amount of time allotted for our stay there. The stables were very well maintained and all horses were on routine feedings and turnout. I am the type of person who does not trust very many people with my animals but had no worries leaving my horse there for training and am gladly returning my mare to Crystal Clear Stables for further training in the future. The outcome from my horses stay there was phenomenal, I was kept up to date with her progress throughout her stay there as well as shown personally with one on one lessons with Crystal. This was definitely a satisfying experience for both myself and my horse and plan to have Crystal Clear Stables further my experiences with young home raised horses.

Crystal is extremely knowledgeable in all horse related disciplines and I have watched her for a few years now at shows and she is always in the ribbons. She put me in that position last year with her guidance and coaching and I must say I was floating on air and proud of both myself and my horse. Now I realize the possibilities are endless as to what goals you can reach with proper training and guidance. Since my experience we have had 2 more babies and already are making plans for training with Crystal as we must book far in advance due to the short summer season and the high volume of people wanting this type of professional service.

In closing I must say that Crystal Clear Stables is a constant learning experience regardless of your age or your level of experience. Young or old Crystal applies her expertise to suit your level safely and you always leave feeling satisfied and smiling at your accomplishments. I would definitely recommend this stable and will definitely return for further services.

I have been riding for ten years now however five years ago my journey to find that "something special" ended and a new journey began. My love of horses has grown as I never imagined it could have. Although I have had the opportunity to ride at several other stables nothing could have ever prepared me for the type of equestrian encounter I came to know as daily life here at Crystal Clear Stables.

It is here that not only did I find a safe, fun and professional riding establishment but I also was introduced to the wonderful family atmosphere which everyone here associated with Crystal and Pascal seems to enjoy regardless of their riding ability, style of riding or age....whether you are a serious competitor or someone who is as green as grass!

One of the things that makes me enjoy being a part of the "CCS" team is that I am constantly challenged in a very encouraging and informative way. Crystal’s values in regards to teaching are new and refreshing to me. Her experience and level of expertise in regards to both Western and English disciplines is u nrivaled in this area. When you take a lesson with Crystal you sure work hard (lots of sweat!!!) but the end result is worth it! She puts as much effort into her lessons as she expects from her students. It is so nice to work with a coach who really takes the time to make sure you know that she thinks you count...this has really meant a lot to me...I’d never experienced that before coming here and she has helped me work through many of my fears and insecurities in regards to riding. The way new ideas are explained and the way she walks me through challenges never renders me feeling like I am not "good enough". Comical constructive criticism is focused on making me realize that my "so called mistakes" are opportunities for me and my horse to learn. Crystal takes the time (no matter how much it takes) to explain to me how and why we are doing what we are doing. I never feel like I am on a time limit with Crystal...often our lessons run much longer than anticipated... Crystal seems to enjoy what she is doing so much that I often have to remind her that she has over ran my "hour"!!! In turn she will always reminds me that I am not a "number" to her ...I really believe that she takes as much pleasure in my successes as I do!

In watching what Pascal and Crystal were doing out in the stable over the years with their own horses or those that are in for training as well as other lessons that Crystal was teaching I am very quickly starting to realize that the things I like best about leasing a horse here at Crystal Clear Stables has very "little" to do with the "special treatment" they give to "me". The thing is that everyone and everything at Crystal Clear Stables gets that "special treatment" it is who they are and what they have to offer EVERY SINGLE DAY!

There has never been in my five years of knowing this fantastic team of people and their family that I have ever seen them have an off day where that "special touch" isn’t applied to all they do. I always feel that my questions are welcomed and always answered with enthusiasm... even if it has nothing to do with the horse I lease there. Even though I don’t show (yet) I am always invited to come with them to clinics and shows... I am always included...I like that! I could watch them work with horses and students for hours and it is always a learning opportunity that I feel welcomed into and take advantage of! When horses are being worked or lessons being taught I can always inquire about how something was accomplished and ge t a comprehensive explanation that makes sense and the answer always seems to be delivered with such a passion for what they do that I just can’t help get excited about whatever topic the answer addressed... Crystal and Pascal’s personalities and values are infectious and the whole stable benefits because of that. All the boarders and students here get along like one huge family and are consistently working together toward one common goal... enjoying our horses in a fun and ever evolving community with lots of support... when I show up at the stable for the day I feel like I have come "home"!

I know that when the time comes and I can afford to purchase my own horse that Crystal’s extensive knowledge of horses through her years of experience as a coach, trainer and judge will be utilized by me to purchase the "perfect horse for me" to help me continue pursuing my dream of riding.

As a registered veterinarian technician I value the skills that Crystal has to identify and correctly manage the health of the horses that are kept in her care. The horses that are currently in her facility enjoy a great lifestyle and I want the best for my "future" horse....I have no need to look any further than "Crystal Clear Stables" to know that I have found a stable which can be depended upon to provide all the essential services a new horse owner would be looking for. I am proud to say that I am a member of the "CCS" Team and I look forward to the many wonderful memories and experiences that I will continue to accumulate through my association with Crystal and Pascal.
